If you’re like me, you’re in the market for a brand new Wii U. Once again, if you’re like me, you want to find the best deal possible that you can find on new technology.
Right now, WalMart.com has a bundle deal on the Wii U that includes the console, a Wii Plus Remote, and your choice of a Wii U game all for only $379 (US). You can upgrade to the Deluxe edition of the console for $50 more. You would think that since it’s a bundle you should get some sort of discount on everything, right? Nope! You pay the exact same amount as if you bought everything separately anyways. Does WalMart honestly think its customer base is that obtuse and boorish?
In all honesty, I’m quite appalled that major brick-and-mortar retailers are getting so arrogant as to assume that we will buy anything without prior research. Something has to give with these retailers. However, I have to say that Target is doing it the right way. Target has declared that it will continue its holiday price matching throughout the year. It states that it will match a price of certain online competitors. Brilliant!
